He was a deacon of the Big Creek Jesus Name Church. He was a farmer and a car salesman

Ward Russell Bryant age 83 years of 1301 Jamestown ST, Columbia, KY. passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 at 8amCT, at the home of one of his daughters, Thelma Morgan in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral service will be Monday, August 16, 2010 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Gene Conover and Bro. Gary Conover the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the funeral home.



Ward Russell Bryant, Adair Co., KY (1926-2010)

Ward Russell Bryant was the son of the late Junus and Myrtie Shepherd Bryant. he was born Monday, September 30, 1926, and died Friday, August 13, 2010, in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, at the age of 83 years, and 11 months.

He was preceded in death by his wife Eula Mae Sneed Bryant on April 28, 2009

He is survived by the following:
  • One son: David Russell Bryant and special friend Tammy Durham of Greensburg, KY.

  • Two daughters: Thelma Morgan and husband Ronnie of Greensburg, KY. and Janice Conover and husband Gary of Columbia, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Bradley Morgan, Tanya Russell, Peggy Sue Bryant and Brandon Wood

  • One step-grandchild: Jared Conover

  • Six great grandchildren: Josh Morgan, Jordan Morgan, Taylor Russell, Madison Russell, Mason Russell and Tyler Russell
He was a member and Deacon of the Big Creek Jesus Name Church at Gradyville, KY, and was a farmer and car salesmanStotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangement.
