Chickens are feasting on bumper crop of hoppers About: Insects of Kentucky Grasshopper To ColumbiaMagazine.com There are a lot of these (grasshoppers) this year and my chickens love them. They are fun to watch trying to catch them. There are a lot of butterflies this year also. There were several different kinds on a bush in my yard the other day. There were also some strange bugs on the same bush. I tried to take a picture of one bug to send to Columbia Magazine but the batteries were dead. s/Ed Waggener Thanks. Sorry about the batteries. ColumbiaMagazine is way short of photos of strange bugs. Hope readers will remember to help. -EW This story was posted on 2010-08-14 09:02:47
