Obituary: Barbara Ann Perkins Barr, 59, Taylor Co., KY

She was a member of First Church of God, Campbellsville, KY, and was a caregiver

Barbara Ann Perkins Barr age 59 years of 124 Dowell St., Campbellsville, KY, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 3pmCT, at the home of her sister JoAnn Caldwell on Liberty Road, Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Sunday, August 15, 2010 at 1pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Gary Tucker and Bro. Troy Grider officiating. Interment in Robinson Chapel Cemetery, 10523 Knifley RD, Knifley, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Saturday, August 14, 2010, at the funeral home.



Barbara Ann Perkins Barr (1951-2010)

Barbara Ann Perkins Barr was the daughter of the late Shelby Julius and Gracie Perkins Warren. She was born on Monday, June 25, 1951, and died Thursday, August 12, 2010, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 59 years, 1 month, and 18 days.

She is survived by her husband Howard Wayne Barr of Campbellsville, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Brandy Nicole Perkins Roth of Campbellsville, KY

  • One son: Byron Keith Perkins of Campbellsville, KY

  • One step-daughter: Dale Hill of Louisville, KY

  • One brother: Shelby Wayne Warren of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters: JoAnn Caldwell of Columbia, KY and Sharon Pike of Elkhorn, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Destin Perkins, Ravane Perkins and Hannah Perkins

  • Special friend: Ernie Mason of Campbellsville, KY

  • And several other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Frances Blessitt.

She was a member of the First Church Of God in Campbellsville, KY and was a care giver.Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
