Today was Pizza Day at Adair County Middle School and while one would not think school is a place to "grab lunch. - I have to disagree!

Not only do you get to have school pizza which is my favorite lunch in the world, but you help your child's school as a whole improve!

You know it is a researched based fact that Students/Schools where parents are involved have higher grades on average, better scores on standardized test, and better overall behavior.

This being said I know it is hard to find time to volunteer - so a great alternative would be eating lunch with your child at school.

For those of us with older children they do get use to it after a while. And their friends get use to seeing you in the school setting at the same time. The benefit most research doesn't talk about is the fact that the bond between yourself, your child, and their friends grows.

Now some may say this is just a grown woman's rational so she can eat school pizza but either way - I DOUBLE DOG DARE you to try it!

You might just like it!

Bottomline
Adult School Lunch $3.25
School Improvement - PRICELESS!
The lunch included a big slice of School Pizza, corn, a fresh cut tossed salad with Lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumber, and tomato/topped with Fat Free Ranch Dressing, and a Rice Krispie Treat. -Shamarie Claiborne
