The ACHS boys JV Golf Team still unbeaten Squad is 3-0 for season. Lates win led by Daniel Rarey (41) Trey Garmon (43), Jerrod Grider 47), and Easton Ellis (51) as Tribe has team total of 191 - beat Barstown, Marion County, and Campbellsville By Steve Burton News from Adair County Sports Information On Monday the ACHS Boy's Jr Varsity Golf Team competed at Rosewood Country Club against Marion County, Bardstown, and Campbellsville. The tribe was looking to keep their unbeaten streak of a year ago alive. The tribe came away with 3 victories. The tribe shot a team score of 182 against Bardstown's 191, Marion County's 203, and Campbellsville's 219. Daniel Rarey's 41 and Trey Garmon's 43 paved the way for the Indians victory. Jerrod Grider's 47 and Easton Ellis's 51 rounded out the team's scorecard. We played really well. Especially, considering that this was the JV's first competition of the season. The kids take great pride in their unbeaten season of a year ago and they wanted to keep their winning streak going. This is just a testament to how hard all of our kids are working. I expect us to keep getting better as the season progresses. The Jr. Varsity squad's record now stands at 3-0 for the season. -Steve Burton This story was posted on 2010-08-10 13:39:39
