Back to School picnic held Saturday, July 31, 2010

The Migrant Program at Adair County Schools hosted its annual "Back to School Picnic" Saturday, July 31, 2010. Students and parents enjoyed grilled hotdogs, cold watermelon, and beverages.

The program provided backpacks and school supplies for the students. The migrant program is federally funded.

The mission of the migrant program is to provide educational opportunities for migrant children and families. Adair County Schools works with a number of local and state agencies to provide support and resources for migrant families in our county. Alan W.
