One driver injured in two-vehicle collision near Lebanon, KY TFC Billy Gregory Public Affairs Officer, KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY Marion Co., KY - Trooper Ricky Underwood is investigating a collision that occurred 08/05/10 at approximately 4:20pmET, Thursday, August 5, 2010, four miles West of Lebanon, KY on US68. The collision occurred when a 1988 Chevy, operated by Samuel Wheatley, age 35, of Lebanon, was traveling westbound on US68 and slowed to make a left hand turn into a parking lot and was struck in the rear by a 2000 Hyundai, operated by Kenneth Mitchell, age 59, of Campbellsville, KY. Wheatley and a passenger, Chad Spalding, age 36, of Lebanon, KY, were both belted and uninjured in the collision. Mitchell was not belted and was transported to the Spring View Hospital, Lebanon, where he was treated and released for his injuries. Trooper Underwood was assisted at the scene by Marion County EMS and Marion County Rescue.
