Obituary: Bobby Glenn Foster, Casey Co., KY

He was a farmer and a member of the Bethelridge United Methodist Church

Bobbie Glenn Foster, 72, Bethelridge, KY, died Friday, July 30, 2010, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral services will be held at Bethelridge United Methodist Church, Bethelridge, Casey Co., KY, on Monday, August 2, 2010, at 1pmET/Noon CT, with Rev. Doug Stutz, Gene Sweet, and Chaplin David Geen officiating. Burial will be in the Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6pm-9pmET/6pm-8pmCT, Sunday, at Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, and after 11amET/10amCT, at the Bethelridge United Methodist Church.



Pallbearers: Ryan Clements; Jason Gene and Jeff Sweet; Randy and Michael Foster, Dillon Haste, adn Tim Durham.

Bobbie Glenn Foster, Casey Co., KY (1938-2010)

He was the son of the late Buel Foster and Bonnie Watson foster. He was born in Bethelridge, KY, on Sunday, March 13, 1938, and died in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY, on Friday, July 30, 2010, at the age of 72 years, 4 months, and 17 days.

He was a farmer and a member of the Bethelridge United Methodist Church.

He is surved by his wife, Nancy Spears Foster and the following:

  • Two sons: Allen Glenn Foster, Columbia, KY; and roger Dale Foster, Louisville, KY

  • Three step-children: Gene Sweet, Bethelridge, KY; Jeffrey Sweet and Jody Clements, both of Liberty, KY

  • Two brothers: Gerald Ray Foster, Greenwood, In; and Lewis Clay Foster, Bethelridge

  • One sister: Nila Dean Durham, Yosemigte, KY

  • Nine step grandchildren

  • One step great grandchild
He was preceded in death by a brother, William Bearl Foster.

Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
