Travel: Closure on KY 48 near High Grove, Nelson Co., KY By Mark Brown ELIZABETHTOWN,KY. (July 28, 2010) A section of KY 48 near High Grove, in Nelson County, will be closed beginning Monday, August 2, 2010. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is scheduled to replace a culvert about a mile east of U.S. 31E. Engineers expect the project to take seven to 10 days to complete, until approximately August 7-8, 2010, under favorable weather conditions. The signed detour will route motorists to KY 509 to reach U.S. 31E.
