Obituary: Snow Lloyd, 88, Russell Co., KY

She was a member of a prominent Russell Co. family and was a homemaker

Snow Lloyd, 88, of S. Hwy 127, Jamestown, KY, died at her home on Tuesday, July 20, 201, at 2:25pmCT.

The funeral will be at 1pmCT, Friday, July 23, 2010, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Wendell Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Thursday, July 22, 2010, at the funeral home.



Snow Lloyd, Russell Co., KY (1921-2010)

Snow Craig Lloyd was the daughter of the late William Craig and Carrie Griffin Craig. She was born Sunday, July 31, 1921, in Albany, Clinton Co., KY, and died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 88 years, 11 months, and 19 days.She was preceded in death by her husband, Quenton Lloyd.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Mary Josephine Roberts, New York, NY; Joan Carol Snowden, Nicholasville, KY; and Judy Helm, Jamestown, KY

  • One son: Jerry Lloyd, Jamestown, KY

  • A sister: Peggy Asberry, Albany, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one son, Earl Landon Lloyd; one grandson, Brandon Helm; six brothers, Sam, Earl, Elmer, Jimmy, Newman, and Billie Jo Craig; and two sisters, Colene Cannon and Betty Johnston.

H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 North Main ST, Jamestown, KY, in charge of arrangements.
