Obituary: Orn Thompson, 87, Casey Co., KY

He was a member of a respected Casey Co., KY family, a farmer, and a member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church.

Orn Thompson, 87, died Saturday July 17, 2010 at the Liberty Care Center, Liberty, KY.

Funeral services were at 11amCT, Monday July 19, 2010, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Bro. Clifton Cowan. Burial was in Casey County Memorial Gardens.

Orn Thompson, Casey County (1922-2010)

He was born Friday, November 10, 1922, in McCreary Co., KY. He is the son of the late Shade and Susan Morrow Thompson. He died July 17, 2010, in Liberty, Casey Co., KY, at the age of 87 years 8 months, and 7 days..

He was a farmer and member of the Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Roberts Thompson of Liberty, KY, and the following:
  • A son: Howard Ray and (Rhonda ) Thompson of Liberty, KY

  • A grandchild: Angela and (Victor) Black of Liberty, KY

  • A great-grandchild: Reagan Black

  • And many friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Clint and Bonnie Thompson and sister Alene Thompson Inman.McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, Liberty, KY, in charge of arrangements.
