Anyone witnessing the suspect or have any information on the suspect, please contact the Campbellsville Police Department at (270) 465-4122 From news release from Campbellsville, KY, police department The Citizens Branch Bank on Highway 210 in Campbellsville, KY, was the victim of an armed robbery Friday afternoon, July 16, 2010, at 2:40pmET. Officers arrived on the scene six minutes later, at 2:46pmET. Police say an undermined amount of money was taken. Campbellsville Police report that a white male, approximately 5'10, 220 lbs. The suspect was wearing a navy blue jacket with a white stripe across it entered the bank and demanded money. The jacket had National Guard written across the back. The robber had on sunglasses and a blonde wig with a pony tail. He was wearing blue jeans,and black shoes. He had a black hat with a white label in front with red writing.The robber was armed with a dark colored semi-auto weapon. The suspect fled in a white SUV. Campbellsville Police report that there no injuries to employees. Investigating officers are Chief Dennis Benningfield, Lieutenant Pat Thompson, Detective Brian Morgan and other officers of the Campbellsville Police Department. Agencies taking part in the investigation include the Kentucky State Police from Post 15, Columbia, KY.
