Obituary: J.D. Bell, 65, Taylor Co., KY

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom where his career spanned 34 years. He was a member of the Lowell Avenue Baptist Church in Campbellsville, KY

J.D. Bell, 65, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 5:20pmET, Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT,, Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Dave Walters. Entombment will be at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 3878 Greensburg RD, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmET/4pmCT, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Gary Brewer, Kim Clark, Troy Hash, Mike Keltner, David Newton, and Landon Newton. Honorary Pallbearers: Coed # 3 Sunday School Class of Lowell AV Baptist Church.


J.D. Bell, Taylor Co., KY (1944-2010)

J.D. Bell of Campbellsville, KY son of the late Andy Bell and Bessie Carlisle Bell was born in Taylor County, KY, Monday, October 30, 1944. He died Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 65 years, 8 months, and 10 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church.

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville where he was employed some thirty-four years.

Besides his wife, Judy Bell, he is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Caleb Bell of Campbellsville, KY, and Clay Bell and special friend, Aleah Farmer of Georgetown, KY

  • Two sisters: Linda Sue Pierce and husband Henry and Marie Garnett and husband Jack of Campbellsville, KY

  • And several other relatives and many friends
The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to the Hope Lodge in Lexington, KY.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
