Campbellsville will host the Babe Ruth District Tournaments at Tiger Field Adair, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, and Taylor Counties of KY teams will compete in Babe Ruth Tournament at Campbellsville University's Tiger Field, 104 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, KY July 10-16, 2010 By Chris Megginson News from Campbellsville Athletics Six different counties will be represented next week as baseball players age 13 to 15 gather at Campbellsville University's Tiger Field, 104 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, KY, for the Babe Ruth Leagues of Kentucky District Tournament. Games will begin Saturday, July 10, 2010 and continue through Friday, July 16, 2010. This is the first time in recent years CU has hosted a Babe Ruth Baseball Tournament. CU Baseball will be providing concessions for the games. Campbellsville, Somerset and Russell County will compete in a three-team, double-elimination tournament from July 10-15 in both the 13-year-old and 15-year-old divisions. The four-team, double-elimination tournament for 14-year-olds includes Adair County, Green County, McCreary County and Somerset. Below is a schedule for the three tournaments.
