Obituary: Odos Lafavers, 85, Russell Co. KY

Mr. Lafavers was a member of a respected Russell Co., KY, and was a typesetter by trade

The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at 1pmCT, at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST., Jamestown KY, with Bro. Stephen Bennett officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Church Cemetery, Russell Springs, KY.



Odos Lafavers, Russell Co., KY (1925-2010)

He was born April 20, 1925, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY. He was the son of the late Lonnie Lafavers and Mollie Smith Lafavers. He died in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, on Monday, July 5, 2010, at the age of 85 years, 2 months, and 15 days.

He was a typesetter.

He is survived by the the following:
  • A brother: Eugene (Short), Lafavers, Russell Springs, KY

  • A sister: Vivian Coomer, Louisville, KY

  • A special friend: Sadie Chrisman, Russell Springs, KY
  • A host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phirba Wells Lafavers and by one sister, Violet Sullivan and four brothers, David Elliott, Bernis Glendale, James and Herbert Blondell Lafavers.

H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
