Metcalfe Co., KY man caught shortly after Marion Co., escape Parker Perdue, 31, Edmonton, KY, taken into custody by officers of KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY, in approximately one hour after report of sighting, operating a recently stolen vehicle. Perdue had escaped the Marion County Adjustment Center, 95 Raywick RD, St. Mary, KY, a private facility operated under contract with the Kentucky Department of Corrections. It is located 32 miles from Coburg, Adair Co., KY -CM By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Loretto, KY - The Kentucky Police have apprehended an escapee from the Marion County Adjustment Center. At approximately 8:31pmET, Friday, July 2, 2010, Parker Perdue, age 31, of Edmonton, Metcalfe Co., KY was reportedly in the Loretto, Marion Co., KY, area wearing an inmate uniform. Troopers Ricky Underwood and Donnie Moses responded to the area but were unable to locate Mr. Perdue. At approximately 9:32pmET, Trooper Underwood observed a vehicle traveling in the Loretto area with the operator of the vehicle matching the physical description of Mr. Perdue. Trooper Underwood apprehended Mr. Purdue following a short vehicle pursuit on A. Mills Rd in Loretto. Mr. Perdue was operating a vehicle that had been recently stolen from the Loretto area.
