M.E. Lewis downright joyous about Friday finds at Farmers Market

It's a busy place, even at 6:10amCT, she says. As early as she was, all the blackberries were already sold! She bought bread for church coffee shop

By M.E. Lewis

I arrived at the farmers market around 6:10amCT this morning and they were very busy.

All the blackberries were gone but I did get three pints of raspberries. You have to be there early, early for the berries.

I bought broccoli, lemon cucumber, celery, and fresh made white bread. The bread will be used for French Toast Sunday morning at Word of Life Family Church coffee shop. (The Gathering Place)

I'm telling you people that if you aren't taking advantage of the Farmers Market you are missing out.

One man had sweet corn. The green beans are looking good and there is squash a plenty.

Some have salad greens. Some have mustard greens and Kale. They have small potatoes and large potatoes. They have good cabbage: Large heads and Small.

The next day for the Farmers' Market is Tuesday July 5th.See y-all there in the cool of the morning. -Maury
