Family welcomes new baby; requests prayers for his great Grandmother Gabriel Aaron Davenport's arrival brightens day of family deeply concerned for welfare of Nova Corbin. Sandy Wilson requests wonderful people of Adair Co., KY, to pray for Nova Corbin's quick recovery, Ed Please ask the wonderful people in Adair County to remember my mom in their prayers. My mom, Nova Corbin, suffered a stroke on Saturday. I found her at her home after failed attempts to get her to answer her phone. She had suffered a stroke and fallen on the floor. She was transported by ambulance to Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY, and then to University of Louisville hospital, where she is currently being treated She is very sick. She is breathing on her own; however, she remains unresponsive much of the time, today, but she did open her eyes on her own for about 30 minutes. Before that time, she would only open them upon request for a few seconds. So we are thankful for the small steps of improvement. Gabriel Aaron Davenport is here. Also, today, we were very blessed with an addition to our family. Gabriel Aaron Davenport was born late this afternoon, June 23, 2010, at Bowling Green Medical Center. He weighed 7 lbs. 1.5 oz. and was 21 in. long. Gabriel is the son of Courtney and Aaron Davenport, the grandson of Doug and Patty Lyons and Buford and Cathy Davenport, and Gabriel made my mom a great grandmother for the first time. So his birth definitely brightened our day here at U of L. Thank you, s/Sandy Wilson This story was posted on 2010-06-24 05:43:22
