Film Update, June 22, 2010 Where I Begin Auditioning in Oxford now; several actors from Columbia, KY, will likely be in the film. Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Thomas L. Phillips, Director, Co-Writer Where I Begin. Movie to be filmed in Columbia, KY Oxford, MS - Where I Begin is moving along nicely. After our Columbia auditions we moved onto Lexington, then to Nashville, and we are currently working on the film in Oxford, Mississippi. We have seen some amazing actors along the way and will be announcing our cast within the next week or so. The best part of the announcement is that there are several people who auditioned in Columbia who will be getting parts in the movie. This Friday is our party/fundraiser in Oxford, and the town is coming out in full to support. There may be some big news to announce in the next week, but we cannot say anything about it now. For now that is a tease. As the director of the film, the days and days get more and more exciting. Even though I am enjoying my time on Oxford tremendously, I am getting excited about getting back to Columbia, in order to get the ball really rolling. Where I Begin can only truly be made in Columbia, cause that is where I was inspired to make it. This Saturday, June 26, 2010, will be our last day of auditions, and then I am coming home. We will continue to update often as we want everyone to be aware of what is happening on a regular basis. -Thomas L. Phillips This story was posted on 2010-06-23 07:19:09
