Obituary: John W. Pettit, 61, Green Co., KY

Mr. John W. Buck Pettit, age 61 of Greensburg, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2010, in Campbellsville, KY, at the Taylor Regional Hospital.

The family has chosen cremation. There will be no visitation. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.



Mr. John W. "Buck" Pettitt, Green Co., KY (1949-2010)

Mr. John W. "Buck" was born Sunday, February 13, 1949, and died Sunday, June 20, 2010, in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 61 years, 4 months, and 7 days.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two daughters: Courtney Segura and her husband Kilo of Greensburg, KY, and Tammy Pettit of Shelbyville, KY

  • Six sisters: Willy Pettit, Wanda Whitlow, Alice Bryant, Brenda Helm and Fredia Kingrey all of Greensburg, KY; and Betty Jean Moran of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Miguel Lugo, Alycia Rachelle Segura, Pablo Isaiah Segura and Liliana Marie Segura all of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends,
