Vehicle leaves KY 80 roadway, strikes tree Driver injured in crash near Russell Springs, KY By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY Russell Springs, KY -Trooper Adam Likins is investigating an Injury vehicle crash which occurred at 8:37pmCT, Sunday, June 20, 2010, on KY 80, 1 mile East of Russell Springs, KY. Antonio Giron, age 21, of Russell Springs, KY, was Westbound in a 1996 Honda when he lost control, ran off the roadway and struck a culvert. Giron was not belted and was transported to Russell County Hospital by Russell County EMS where he was treated for non life threatening injuries. Giron was cited by Trooper Likins for DUI and other traffic related charges. Trooper Likins was assisted at the scene by Trooper John Barnett and Russell County EMS.
