Obituary: Paul Loveless, Adair Co., KY

He was a native of Russell Co.,, KY, and a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II and a retired dairy processor. His marriage to wife Geraldine McCoy Loveless, who survives, endured a remarkable 65 years. He will be buried in Lebanon National Cemetery

Paul Loveless, 88, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday June 14, 2010 at 12:25pmCT, at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY

The funeral service will be Friday, June 18, 2010 at 11amCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY. Interment in the Lebanon National Cemetery, Lebanon, KY. The family request visitation after 9amCT on Friday at the funeral home.



Paul Loveless, Adair Co., KY

He was the son of the late John Tom and Loma Anderson Loveless of Russell Co., KY. He was born Friday, November 18, 1921, in Russell Co., KY and died Monday, June 14, 2010, in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, at the age of 88 years, 6 months, and 27 days.

Survived by is wife of 65 years Geraldine "Jerry" McCoy Loveless of Columbia, KY and the following:

  • One daughter: Debbie Coogan and husband Kevin of Nipomo, CA

  • One brother: Wesley Loveless of Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister: Joyce Smith of Bowling Green, KY

  • Two grandsons: Jason Hickey and Don Stone
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Pastor in 1998; by one brother Tommy Loveless, three sisters, Pearl Nunn, Jesse Jones and Dolene Markum.

Mr. Loveless was a US Army-Air Force World War II veteran and was a retired dairy processor.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
