One injured while trying to negotiate narrow curve

Crash occurs on Doe Run Lane, north of Springfield, in Kentucky State Police Post 15, service area

SPRINGFIELD, KY - Trooper Brian Coyt is investigating a collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon at 2:18pmCT, 8 miles North of Springfield, KY, on Doe Run Lane.

Bobby Wilson, age 53 of Junction City, KY, was traveling West on Doe Run Lane in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado truck. He was attempting to negotiate a narrow curve when he struck a1998 Chevrolet truck traveling East, being operated by Chris Kuchenbrod, age 37 of Springfield.




Wilson and Kuchenbrod were both wearing their seatbelt and not injured.

A passenger in Kuchenbrods vehicle, 13 year old Christian Kuchenbrod of Springfield was wearing a seatbelt; he was treated and released from Springview Hospital.

Trooper Coyt was assisted at the scene by Trooper John Adams and Washington County EMS.
