She was a member of a large, respected Russell Co., KY family with many relatives in Russel and Adair Counties, KY. She was a Head Start teacher

Phyliss R. Snow Malone, 63, Lucy LN, Jamestown, KY, died Friday, June 4, 2010, at 9:43amCT, in Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, KY.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 2pm at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, with Bro. Phillip Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Collins Cemetery, Jamestown, KY. Visitation will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel after 5pmCT, Monday, June 7, 2010.


Phyliss R. Snow Malone, Russell Co., KY (1947-2010)

Phyliss R. Snow Malone was the daughter of the late Forest Collins and Ruby (Mann) Collins. She was born Friday, April 25, 1947, in Jamestown, Russell Co., KY, and died Friday, June 4, 2010, in Somerset, Pulaski Co., KY, at the age of 63 years, 1 month, and 10 days.

She was a Head Start teacher.
  • Two sons: Michael (Mary) Snow, Russell Springs, KY, and Darren Snow, Jamestown, KY

  • One step son: Brent Malone

  • Two daughters: Sherri Craig, Russell Springs, KY; and Melanie (Jeff) Miller, Knifley, KY

  • Two step daughters: Sue Malone and Lucy Malone

  • Three brothers: Aaron Collins, Curtis Collins, and Lynn Collins, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • One sister: Wanda Bunch, Russell Springs, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Five great granchildren

  • Several step grand and great grandchildren
  • She is preceded in death by one son, David Snow; four brothers, Beckham, Clifton, James and Lester Collins, and one sister, Ester Collins.

    The H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N. Main ST, Jamestown, KY, is in charge of arrangments.
