RAPID CITY, SD - The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team finished sixth at the NAIA National Championships Friday, May 29, 2010, at Meadowbrook Golf Course.

Lindsey Wilson shot a four-round team-total of 1,278 (322-316-318-322) to finish in the national tournament's top-10 for the fourth consecutive year. The Blue Raiders have finished eighth, sixth twice and second in the last four years.

Freshman Kelsey Joslyn ties for 42nd

Freshman Kelsey Joslyn finished tied for 42nd overall after firing an 82 on Friday. Joslyn finished her first national tournament with a four-round total of 322 (81-80-79-82).

Cheslee Stone (53rd) and Krista Burton (60th) finish high in tourney

Seniors Cheslee Stone and Krista Burton completed the tournament tied for 53rd and tied for 60th respectively. The pair each shot 83s in today's round. Stone finished with a four-round total of 327 (81-80-83-83) while Burton shot a tournament-total of 331 (81-84-83-83).

University of British Columbia captured the national title with a 1,224 (301-311-311-301). California Baptist University's Nathalie Silva's won the individual title with a four-round total of 301 (74-76-75-76).

In addition to being named to the all-tournament team, Smith captured the 2010 Long Drive Championship held during Monday's practice round. Smith hit her drive 278 yards to win by 23 yards over the nearest competitor.
