Junior Chelsey Key has best score 78 in final round at Meadowbrook Golf Course, 3625 Jackson Boulevard, Rapid City, SD By Chris Wells News from Lindsey Wilson College Sports Information RAPID CITY, SD - The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team finished sixth at the NAIA National Championships Friday, May 29, 2010, at Meadowbrook Golf Course. Lindsey Wilson shot a four-round team-total of 1,278 (322-316-318-322) to finish in the national tournament's top-10 for the fourth consecutive year. The Blue Raiders have finished eighth, sixth twice and second in the last four years. Lindsey Wilson senior Jessica Smith led the Blue Raiders during the week en route to making the all-tournSmith concluded the tournament with a four-day total of 312 (79-76-78-79). She led the Blue Raiders during the week with nine birdies in the 72-hole tournament, including two in today's final round. The Blue Raiders concluded its season today with a 322. Cheslee Stone (53rd) and Krista Burton (60th) finish high in tourney Seniors Cheslee Stone and Krista Burton completed the tournament tied for 53rd and tied for 60th respectively. The pair each shot 83s in today's round. Stone finished with a four-round total of 327 (81-80-83-83) while Burton shot a tournament-total of 331 (81-84-83-83). University of British Columbia captured the national title with a 1,224 (301-311-311-301). California Baptist University's Nathalie Silva's won the individual title with a four-round total of 301 (74-76-75-76). In addition to being named to the all-tournament team, Smith captured the 2010 Long Drive Championship held during Monday's practice round.
