SCC graduates largest class with Spring 2010 additions

Somerset Community College's 44th Commencement Exercise was held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at The Center for Rural Development, 2297 US 27, Somerset, KY. A crowd of over 2000 people watched as 230 graduates received their diploma or degrees.

Dr. Jo Marshall, SCC President and CEO, addressed the crowd and commented, "This is the largest graduating class in the history of SCC."

The Commencement Exercise reflects credentials earned during the previous two semesters. For fall 2009 and spring 2010, more than 940 students were awarded over 1,700 credentials.

Graduates in the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program at Somerset Community College before the Commencement Exercise held on May 7, 2010, at The Center for Rural Development.
