Day in the Garden Event, Saturday, May 22, 2010

News from the Adair County Garden Club

The Adair County Garden Club will host "A Day in the Garden" event on Saturday, May 22 , 2010,starting at 9 amCT and lasting through the afternoon. at The Farm at Tucker's Station, 1535 Bull Run RD, Columbia, KY. The fun and informative event will include an auction of wonderful garden-related objects, many of them hand-made; a raffle; presentations by garden professionals on vegetable gardening and flower arranging; and demonstrations of various crafts and other garden-related activities. The event is free and open to everyone, gardeners and wishful gardeners alike. The only "price of admission" is that attendees are being asked to bring a dish to share at a potluck lunch. -Wendy Burt
