Obituary: Haskell Richardson, 83, Casey Co., KY

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, a retired railroad engineer, and was a member of Jesus Name Church

Haskell Richardson, 83, Yosemite, KY, died Saturday, May 15, 2010, at his residence.The funeral service will be at 1pmET/12 noon CT, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, with Dan Scott and Bro. Raymond Alstott officiating. Burial will be in Willow Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, Monday, May 17, 2010, at the funeral home.



Haskell Richardson, Casey Co., KY (1926-2010)

He was born Sunday, May 30, 1926, in Casey Co., KY. He was the son of the late George Denny Richardson and Lucy Pittman Richardson. He died Saturday, May 15, 2010, in Yosemite, Casey Co., KY, at the age of 83 years, 11 months, and 15 days.He was a retired railroad engineer, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and was a member of Jesus Name Church.He is survived by his wife, June Richardson, and the following:
  • Three daughters: Particia Scott and Lisa Hennis, both of Nashville, TN; and Vickie Warren of Dallas, TX

  • Five grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren

  • One brother: Denzil Richardson, Lawrenceburg, KY
He was preceded in death by five brothers, O.P., Troy, Russell, Arnold and Glen Richardson; and two sisters, Vadis Phelps and Effie Douglas.

Bartle Funeral Home, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
