Thanks to Lanette Standridge for YouTube link About: The Flood May 13, 2006: Amazing Nashville video link To ColumbiaMagazine.com: Regarding the letter from Lanette Standridge related to the Nashville Flood of May 2010 and the YouTube link she provided, I must say "Thank you." I have lived in the Nashville area since 1974 (36 years), and I can tell you that many people here have experienced tremendous personal loss in the last week and yet their spirit and faith have not waivered. The national media has, with few exceptions, given our plight no attention. The churches, businesses, civic organizations and everday citizens and neighbors have rallied together to begin to address the issues of Nashville and its surrounding communities. My family has not experienced loss, but we see it everywhere we go.
