Mildred Anderson, 94, of Glasgow, KY formerly of Burkesville, KY, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Runell's Family Care Home in Glasgow.

The funeral service will be Monday, May 10, 2010 at 2pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Burkesville, KY with Bro. Randall McPherson officiating. Burial in the Leslie Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10amCT on Monday, May 10, 2010 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY.



Mildred Anderson, Cumberland Co., KY (1916-2010)

She was the daughter of the late Willie Kirk and Reba Anderson. She was born on February 15, 1916 in Cumberland County, KY and died Saturday, May 8, 2010, in Glasgow, Barren Co., KY at the age of 94 years, 2 months, and 24 days.

She was a member of Arat/Hanover Church of Christ and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alvis Anderson, five brothers, James, Kenneth, Todd, Luther, and Leland Anderson, and one sister, Marshall Vibbert.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Dempsey Anderson of Glasgow, KY, and Jimmy Anderson of Shepherdsville, KY

  • One daughter: Phyllis Gilbert of Anderson, IN

  • Three sisters: Ruby Priddy and Helen Wilson both of Smiths Grove, KY, and Willie Mae Carder of Brownsville, KY
Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
