The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 11amCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main ST, Burkesville, KY with Elder Richard Tobin and Elder Rev. Jose' Anders officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Burkesville CemeteryVisitation will be after 9amCT, Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY. Owsley Warren Tobin, Cumberland Co., KY (1942-2010) He was born on January 25, 1942 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Clarence and Regina Owsley Tobin. He died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY at the age of 68 years, 3 months, and 10 days. He was a former teacher at the Elementary School in Burkesville, KY, for children of African American descent when schools were segregated, and was a retired employee of Haight Ashbury Free Clinics in San Fransico, California, having served as contracts manager. He was affiliated with Big Sandy Holiness Church in Burkesville, KY. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Henrietta Graves, and one brother, Charles Graves.
