Residents of Lindsey Wilson College's Phillips Hall got a sweet study break Wednesday night for being the most generous with their spare change.

Residents of the all-female residence hall donated the most pennies in a recent penny war between the college's residence halls and apartments. As a reward, they got to decide where the pennies were donated - to Sugarfoot Farm Rescue - and they were rewarded with dessert pizzas during finals week.

Finals on the college's A.P. White Campus continue through the end of this week. Spring commencement will be at 10amCT on Saturday, May 8, 2010, in Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard DR, Columbia, KY.

A total of 199 undergraduate and graduate diplomas will be conferred at the ceremony, which will include a commencement address by LWC Chancellor John B. Begley.
