AoG Food Pantry finds God is always right on time Success of Assembly of God Food Pantry depleted wares, when, just in time Angels from Lindsey Wilson College football team appear with automobile crammed with foodstuff By Patricia Willis News from the Food Pantry at Praise Assembly of God Three weeks ago we opened the Food Pantry in the basement of our church. Those in need began coming. As of today we have helped over 50 families. When we began we felt that the Lord wanted us to reach out and help those in need to bless those that we could. We have taken only donations given by people in our church. Today, we were almost completely out of supplies with about another hour to go. We were discussing how we would manage food for the next week with nothing left, of course we decided this was God's idea so he would have to provide if we were to keep it going. You know God's always right on time: in walks two young men from LWC (football team) wanting to know if we could use some donated food items! Well, after we were through praising the Lord, we went out to their automobile and the back was completely full. We just wanted to thank those boys who brought all of it to us and to thank the football team for donating it. I would also like first to thank you for allowing our church to place our food pantry in your magazine, for it has truly been a blessing. God bless each one of you.
