Poke Sallet To ColumbiaMagazine.com Consarn it, anyways. Why did you have to go and mention fresh poke? That flung a powerful craving upon me for a big bait of water creeseys, but such things are unheard of here north of the Green River. I'll just have to hightail it over to Kroger's and fetch home a mess of brought-on collard greens. Thank goodness I have vinegar and bacon drippings to season 'em up right, and enough yellow meal to make a pone of real cornbread.
