Rev. H. J. Conover was the long time minister at the Cane Valley Christian Church. I don't know if he was there in 1933, but he was the minister there in the early '50s.I was born in 1947 and I remember him being our minister. He preached either the 1st & 3rd or 2nd & 4th Sundays at Cane Valley, I don't remember where or if he preached somewhere else on his off Sundays, but something tells me he did.

I also don't remember if he quit preaching or passed away in the late '50s, as we got a new minister somewhere near '59 or '60.

His home, as far back as I can remember, was at the corner of what is now Cane Valley Road and Beechtop Road. The house is now owned by a Mr. Lee.
