Obituary: Vonda Brockman, 75, Columbia, KY

She was a member of a highly regarded Adair County family and was widely known and respected by the thousands of patrons who visited the Circle R Restaurant during her 46 year career there. She and her sister Peggy, who survives, have been a huge part of our lives. She was a member of the Freedom Separate Baptist Church

Vonda Brockman, 75, Columbia, KY, died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at 3:55pmCT, at Summit Manor Health & Rehab in Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 12 noon CT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Friday, April 30, 2010, at the funeral home.




Vonda Brockman, Columbia, KY (1934)

Vonda Brockman was a daughter of the late Porter and Susie Conover Brockman. She was born Friday, October 5, 1934, and died Thursday, April 29, 2010, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY. at the age of 75 years, 6 months, and 24 days.

She was a member of Freedom Separate Baptist Church.

She was a grill cook at Circle R Restaurant for 46 years.She is survived by the following:
  • Her sister: Peggy Brockman, Columbia, KY

  • Her sister in law: Evelyn Brockman, Lake Jackson, Texas

  • And many, many friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gaspard Brockman.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangments.
