Community fortunate to have Cub Scout Pack 888 About: Heroes for Baby So Soft: Cub Scout Pack 888 By George Kolbenschlag Cub Scout Pack 888 is one of the most active and community-oriented group of scouts I have ever seen. In addition to their efforts in support of the Baby So Soft program, they have been activly involved in the PRIDE road pick-ups, work projects at Home Place on Green River and a number of other community betterment projects. Earlier this month they had their annual Pine Wood Derby, and they have an active summer planned. I visited one of their meetings a couple of weeks ago and I caught them outside in activity time. There were a bunch of scouts having a great time and as many parents watching as there were scout playing. We are fortunate to have programs like scouting for our young folks, and leadership like the leaders of Cub Scout Pack 888. This story was posted on 2010-04-27 15:38:20
