Pedestrian struck by vehicle on Kellyville RD Stanley C. Jones transported to Westlake, then flown to the University of Louisville Hospital. Occupants of vehicle not injured By Tpr. Wm. Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY ADAIR CO., KY - A vehicle and pedestrian collision occurred at 7:45pmCT, on Kellyville RD in Adair Co., KY, approximately 7 miles North of Columbia. A 1980 Ford pickup operated by James Truax, age 47, of Campbellsville, KY was traveling Westbound on Kellyville Road when he struck Stanley C. Jones, age 76, of Columbia, who was walking Westbound in the roadway. Jones was transported to Westlake Hospital in Columbia by Adair Co EMS and was then flown to University of Louisville Hospital. Truax and two passengers in the Truax vehicle, Ike Underwood, age 28, of Campbellsville and Jolene Bentley, age 47, of Campbellsville were not injured. All occupants were belted.Trooper Jamie Richard of KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY, is investigating. He was assisted by Trooper Brad Stotts, Adair Co Sheriffs Department, and Adair Co EMS.
