Casey collision on Sunday results in injuries to two Two belted occupants uninjured; two unbelted occupants taken to Casey County Hospital for treatment By Tpr. Wm. Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - Trooper John Barnett is investigating a collision that occurred Sunday evening at 6:51pmET, Sunday, April 25, 2010, five miles North of Liberty, KY on U.S. 127. Robyn Grider, age 20 of Liberty was traveling South on U.S. 127 in a 1999 Jeep when she failed to observe a 1999 Ford F250 being operated by Jamie Wethington, age 32 of Liberty, KY. Wethington was attempting a right turn when his vehicle was struck in the rear by Grider. Grider and a passenger in her vehicle; Meghan Pelley, age 20 of Liberty were wearing a seat belt and not injured. Another passenger in her vehicle, Abbie Streeval, age 20 of Liberty, KY, and Wethington were not wearing a seat belt; they were both treated at the Casey County Hospital. Trooper Barnett was assisted at the scene by Trooper Adam Likins, Casey County EMS, Casey County Rescue, and the Brush Creek Fire Department.
