Obituary: Louise Stotts, 74, Columbia, KY

She was a member of a large, respected Adair County family. She leaves 29 direct living descendants

Louise Stotts, 74, Columbia, KY, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at 11:37am at the Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Lonny Karnes and Rev. Ronnie Janes officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, 8147 Burkesville RD, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Monday, April 26, 2010, at the funeral home.



Louise Stotts, Adair Co., KY (1935-2010)

Louise Stotts was the daughter of the late Tom and Mary Furkins Smith. She was born Tuesday, November 12, 1935, and died Thursday, April 22, 2010, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY, at the age of 74 years, 5 months, and 10 days.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Elwood Stotts, on November 18, 2002.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Danny and his wife Pat Stotts, and Michael Stotts, all of Columbia, KY

  • Three daughters: Linda and her husband Benny Feese, Mt. Washington, KY; Penny and her husband Clifton Price, Campbellsville, KY; and Teresa Richard, Columbia, KY

  • One brother: Gordon Smith, Columbia, KY

  • Two sisters: Shirley Gilpin, Louisville, KY; and Sue Wilson, Columbia, KY

  • Fifteen grandchildren

  • Nine great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
