CU Orchestra to present concert Thursday, April 29

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Campbellsville University's Orchestra will present its annual spring concert on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 8pmET/7pmCT at Campbellsville Baptist Church, 420 North Central AV, Campbellsville, KY. The concert is free and open to the public.

The program will feature various familiar works, including some with vocal soloists and ensembles.



Selections include "The New World Symphony (No.9)" by Antonin D'vorak and "Remember When...," an arrangement of songs of the Andrews Sisters sung by the Massey Sisters of Somerset, Ky., conducted by Dr. J. Robert Gaddis, dean of the School of Music and professor."Selections from Carmen by Bizet," featuring soloists Tae Un Moon, Margaret Miguel, Debora Silva, and Samuel Hong, and a folk song, "Green Mountains," sung by Samuel Hong will be conducted by Wansoo Cho, associate director.Gaddis invites you to "join us for this exciting music presentation."For more information contact the School of Music at 270-789-5237 or e-mail music@campbellsville.edu.
