She was a member of a respected Russell Co. family, a retired garment factory worker, and was a member of the Russell Springs Christian Church

Nadine Ashbrook, 77, Grider Lane, Russell Springs, KY, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

The funeral service will be Monday, April 19, 2010, at 10amCT, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel 367 Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, with Rev. Carroll Egnew, Rev. Jim Kingry, and Rev. Tim Johnson officiating. Special music will be rendered by Mildred and Ermel wilson. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Russell Springs Cemetery.

Nadine Wells Ashbrook, Russell Co., KY (1932-2010)

Nadine Wells Ashbrook was the daughter of the late Mary Davis Wells and Eddie Carl Wells. She was born Thursday, September 8, 1932, in Clinton Co., KY and died Friday, April 16, 2010, in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY, at the age of 77 years, 7 months, and 8 days.

She is survived by her husband, Avery Ashbrook, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • One son: Dean (Sheila) McKinley, Russell Springs, KY

  • One daughter: Tammy (Doug) Miller, Cincinnati, OH

  • Two grandchildren: Aaron Miller and Allison Miller

  • Two step children

  • Nieces and nephews

  • Two sisters: Ida Mae McKinley, Pall Mall, TN; and Phyllis Browning, Russell Springs, KY
She was a retired garment factory worker and was a member of the Russell Springs Christian Church.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 West Main ST, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
