News from the Columbia Rotary Club

The Rotary Bean Lunch held at Columbia United Methodist drew a good crowd and good food was served.

The beans were donated by the Lindsey Wilson Dining Center. This was indeed fortunate, as the Rotary Club, blessed with some of the finest breakfast chefs in the Commonwealth, have a serious lack of talent in pinto beans art.

A highlight of the event was getting to display a lifesize standup of Kentucky's Ashley Judd. The display will be part of the Rotary Auction on Monday and Tuesday, April 26-27, from 6pm-9pmCT, on both Columbia Radio Stations, WHVE and WAIN.
