LWC Singers Homecoming Concert is tonight Click on headline for story plus photo of group By Duane Bonifer News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson College Singers will perform their annual Spring Homecoming Concert this evening. The Singers will perform at 7pmCT at Columbia Baptist Church, 201 Greensburg ST. The concert is free and open to the public.The concert is part of the 2009-10 Lindsey Wilson Cultural Affairs Series. Tonight's concert will feature sacred vocal compositions by Melchoir Frank, George Frideric Handel, Heinrich Isaac, Giovani Croce, Hans Leo Hassler as well as several contemporary composers. The length of the concert is about one hour. The Singers' annual concert will come following a five-day concert tour that has included stops in Paris, KY, and then at three locations in Texas. This is the Singers' 13th spring tour under the direction of Associate Professor of Music and Religion Gerald L. Chafin.
