Book sale April 23,24 at Glasgow, KY library Linda Hitchcock, President News from Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library Friends of the Library The Friends Annual Spring Book Sale to benefit the Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library, 1530 South Green ST, Glasgow, KY will be from 10am-3pmCT, Friday, April 23, 2010, and 9am-3pmCT, Saturday, April 23-24, 2010. There will be a Member's Only Preview Sale the first hour on Friday, April 23, 2010, from 9-10amCT reserved for current Friends of the Library members. We will have a checklist at the door and will be set up for renewals and new memberships. If you have not yet renewed your membership, you will need to do so for the preview sale. The 2009-2010 memberships expired the end of March. Membership is a nominal $5.00 individual, $10 for family with higher levels of sponsorship available. The Friends of the Library have expanded their support of Mary Wood Weldon Memorial Library programs and made additions to the circulating collection.The Friends have solicited book and materials donations throughout the year and have an excellent selection of both fiction and nonfiction with affordable prices. At the book sale:
The main sale will take place in the large, main floor meeting room with children's books in the Internet cafe in the library lobby.
