Carol Ann O'Neill, age 72 years, a resident of Summit Manor Health and Rehab Center in Columbia, KY, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010, at 8:45pmCT, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY after an illness.

The funeral service will be Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 3pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Lewis Haynes the officiating clergy. Cremation will follow the service. The family request visiting after 1pmCT, Sunday, April 11, 2010, at the funeral home.



Carol Ann O'Neill, Columbia, KY (1937-2010)

Carol Ann O'Neill was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence White Allen of New York. She was born Tuesday, June 22, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY and died Thursday, April 8, 2010, in Columbia, Adair Co., KY at the age of 72 years, 9 months, and 17 days.

She was the widow of Matthew Henry O'Neill, who preceded her in death on March 17, 1984She was preceded in death by one son, Mathew O'Neill in 1992 She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter: Barbara O'Neill of Russell Springs, KY

  • One son: Michael O'Neill of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two brothers: Arthur Allen of Security, CO; and Howard Allen of Toms River, NJ

  • One grandson: Jonathan Christopher O'Neill
Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
