Christine Lenore Hedrick, 89, Campbellsville, KY died at 2:25amET, Thursday, April 8, 2010, in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral services for Christine Levore Hedrick will be at 11amET/10amCT, Monday, April 12, 2010, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Charles Hedrick and Rev. Bruce Treon. Pleasureville Cemetery, Pleasureville, Kentucky

Christine Levore Hedrick (1920 - 2010)

Christine Lenore Hedrick of Campbellsville, KY daughter of the late Virgil Jones and Marie Lenore Jones, was born in Clarksburg, Harrison Co., WV, Wednesday, June 9, 1920. She died at 2:25amET, Thursday, April 8, 2010, in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 89 years, 9 months, and 30 days.

She united in marriage to Dr. John C. Hedrick, Sr. He preceded her in death in 1989.

She is survived by the following:
  • Three sons and two daughters: Dr. Charles Hedrick and wife, Sharon; and Dr. David Hedrick and Kathy Rueter of Campbellsville, KY; Donnie Hedrick and wife, Joan of Owenton, KY; and Susie Garrett and husband, George of Louisville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren: Allan Hedrick, Cindy Butler, Becky Treon, Brian Garrett, Kimberlee Slaughter, Matt Wilson, Dr. Stephen Hedrick, Kristi Pruitt, and Sally Ann Hedrick

  • Great-grandchildren: Allison French, Amanda Hedrick, Billy Brewer, Greg Butler, Elizabeth Butler, Sara Hedrick, Ryan Watson, Kaitlin Watson, Grace Hedrick, Aidin Slaughter, Maren Slaughter, Justin Slaughter, Jarred Slaughter, Tristin Garrett, Reece Garrett, Sophie Garrett, Joshua Treon and John Treon

  • Two brothers: Victor Jones of Lexington, OK; and Bobby Jones of Winchester, VA

  • And several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene Jones and Billy Jones and a great-granddaughter, Mia Garrett.

The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to Gideon Bibles, Palestine Baptist Church, Campbellsville University School of Music, Campbellsville IMB Missions, Richland Baptist Church of Owenton, KY Organ Fund or Dave Walker Ministries of Valley View Baptist Church, Louisville, KY and may be made at the funeral home.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon AV., Campbellsville, KY, is in charge of arrangements.
