KSP says electrical wiring malfunction cause of fatal fire

Names of five who died in the fire are released.
Update on Horrific fire in Sulphur Well, Metcalfe Co., KY takes five lives

In reference to the fatal house fire that occurred on April 7, 2010. at 3120 Sulphur Well Knob Lick RD in Metcalfe County, no foul play suspected. The preliminary cause of the fire was determined to be an electrical wiring malfunction that originated in the front of the residence. A final report is pending.As a result of the fire, five (5) individuals passed away and one (1) individual is currently admitted to U of L Hospital and listed in critical condition. The following is a list of the names and ages of the individuals that are deceased:
  1. Mason Posey (age 1)
  2. Chase Posey (age 2)
  3. Jackalin Posey (age 3)
  4. Vallissa Perry (age 12)
  5. Melaine Harper (age 24)

CONTRIBUTIONS FOR FUNERAL & FOR SURVIVORS ASSISTANCE: A bank account for the Garmon/Perry Families has been set up at Edmonton State Bank. One can make a donation at any branch. Funds from this account will be used to pay funeral expenses and make purchases of needed items for the family.
