Job Fair for CU students open to area residents, too

Event on April 7, 2010, already lists 35 companies with full time and part-time employment will be present

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY. - Campbellsville University will hold a job/career fair Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 2pmET/1pmCT to 4pmET/3pmCT in the Student Activities Center, 106 University Drive, Campbellsville, KY.

A variety of more than 35 employers for full time, part time and internship opportunities will attend. The job/career fair is held as a service to our graduating seniors, but open to all students, Campbellsville University alumni and the community.



Teresa Elmore, director of career services at Campbellsville University, said the job/career fair is an event open to networking and internship opportunities for all. She said entrance requires professional/appropriate dress.

"Meet and network with employers that are from Campbellsville, other parts of Kentucky, and outside Kentucky,"

"Be prepared with plenty of resumes in hand and dress professionally to make a good first impression," she said.

Confirmed companies are: The Adanta Group, AFLAC, Bankers Life & Casualty Co., Big Brothers, Big Sisters-VISTA, Bluegrass Cellular, Build Corps/AmeriCorps, Cardinal Health, Commonwealth Broadcasting, Communicare Inc., Edward Jones, Enterprise, FBI, First Investors Corp., Golden Living Center Green Hill, Insight Media,

Kentucky Personnel Cabinet, Kentucky State Police, Kort Campbellsville Physical Therapy, LifeSkills Inc., MarketAmerica.com, McDonald's, Modern Woodmen of America, New York Life, Office for the Blind,

Office of Employment and Training, Primerica, Saver Group Inc., Social Security Administration, Spring View Hospital, Taylor Regional Hospital,

Upstream/Intelenet Global Services, United States Air Force, United States Census Bureau, United States Marine Corps, Woodmen of the World and WULF-WQSE. Campbellsville University graduate schools and undergraduate programs will have a table as well as a ministry jobs/assistance information table.
