Four LWC students honored for top scholarship at LWC By Duane Bonifer News from Lindsey Wilson CollegeCOLUMBIA, KY - Four Lindsey Wilson College undergraduate students received top honors at the colleges annual Presidents List and Deans List Banquet, held Thursday night in Roberta D. Cranmer Dining & Conference Center. LWC seniors Amanda Hester of Munfordville, KY, Mary Beth Jewell of Canmer, KY, Amanda Johnson of Morganfield, KY, and Pablo Martinez of Louisville, KY, were all recognized for being named to the Presidents or Deans lists for all seven consecutive semesters they have been enrolled at the college. The four seniors were among more than 150 undergraduate students who were honored at the banquet for being named to the Presidents List or the Deans List. Students named to the Presidents List earned a 4.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. Students named to Deans List earned at 3.50-3.99 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and attempted at least 12 credit hours during the semester. This story was posted on 2010-03-26 03:56:17
